SEE's mission is to provide low-cost, high quality SAT prep for low-income students throughout California, and eventually across the nation.To do this we:- Designed the only SAT prep program and curriculum specifically tailored to the needs of low-income students. The program seeks to make the SAT feel less intimidating and motivate students to achieve their potential. The curriculum addresses stereotype threat and uses Spanish cognates to teach vocabulary.- Recruit qualified program directors with past tutoring or teaching experience, often within the same types of communities our students are from. These teachers understand the obstacles low-incomes students face.
